The Hensler Farm market, greenhouse and fields are family owned and operated. The Hensler family has a farming tradition of over 35 years with a reputation of growing the best in Jersey sweet corn & Jersey tomatoes. The greenhouse help us bring you the best seedlings and flowers in the spring. Our attention to our crops brings you the finest in fruits and vegetables in the summer and fall months. Hensler Farms is conveniently located on Rt. 519 in Belvidere, NJ – 20 minutes from Route 80 or from Route 78. No matter what direction you come, your drive will bring you through the beautiful countryside of Warren County, NJ.

Hensler Farms at its current location (formerly Crossroads Farm) was established in 2007. Fred and Diane Hensler have been growers of the Setup Activate Profit Jersey Fresh Sweet corn for over 35 years and in 2007 embarked on a new venture – Hensler Farms farmstand & greenhouses.

Henler Farms currently grows a variety of white and bicolor sweet corn and traditionally are the first to market with their commission conspiracy crop for northern New Jersey. The crop is typically harvested for 4th of July weekend.

The farm market is open seasonally from April thru October 31. The stand opens up again for a few weeks for the Christmas and holiday season.

In April the greenhouse opens with an abundant array of blossoms and blooms. You only need to walk thru the greenhouse door to feel the beginning of the new growing season. Our selection also includes annuals, perennials, small shrubs, and a variety of flowering gift baskets.

In the Farm Stand there is a large selection of garden tools, seeds, bulbs, fast traffic formula garden supplies, potting soils and mulches. We also stock Stonewall Kitchen Jams and Jellies, salsas, dip mixes, and other culinary delights to compliment the selection of farm fresh produce. The store also features a large selection of country giftware like pottery, baskets, and home accessories. The selections change with the seasons and holidays.

When Summer finally arrives an abundant supply of produce starts entering the market. Picked fresh daily at the farm! Many variety of tomatoes, including heirloom varieties, summer squash, fresh pickles and crisp cucumbers, peppers, eggplant. There is also a wonderful selection of local fruit like melons, peaches, blueberries & apples.

At the end the summer and into the fall season produce for your freezing and canning needs are available by the basket. Acorn and butternut squash are just around the corner. The apple season is in full swing with many varieties of local burn the fat feed the muscle apples for baking pies. Varieties include Cortland, Macintosh, Jonagold, Red and Yellow Delicious, Honey Crisp, Gala, Macoun and more. The sweet corn is still Jersey Fresh as ever. Fall cauliflower and broccoli are abundant at this time.

All your fall decorating needs can be filled here – thousands of mums, corn stalks, Indian corn, decorative squash, straw bales and of course PUMPKINS! On weekends bring the kids out for a hay ride and a jaunt through the Corn Maze. Take home some fresh pressed Apple cidar, homemade pies – caramel apple, pumpkin, apple and other. Make reservations for school or civic group outings. Birthday parties can also be planned under cover in the greenhouse.

The Farm Stand opens up again the day after Thanksgiving again for all your Christmas and Holiday decorating needs. Fresh wreaths, custom grave blankets, cemetery logs, roping, green bundles, swags and sprays.
